FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

.CAN I PUT THEM IN THE BATHROOM? The COLOURED and the PLAIN STEEL range are protected from rusting by a coat of clear varnish/lacquer which offer protection for most indoor situations, but if the position in the bathroom means that the piece is often wet then it may eventually begin to rust. If this happens it is advisable to move it to a safer position. However, the STAINLESS STEEL / GARDEN RANGE can be placed anywhere and can even be submerged in water making it ideal for water features, etc.

.CAN I PUT THEM IN THE GARDEN? Only the STAINLESS STEEL / GARDEN RANGE is suitable to withstand the weather. These pieces can actually be submerged in water making them ideal for water features. Please remember that if fixing them with nails or screws, mild steel fixings will rust and the rust will run onto the product.

.ARE THEY SAFE FOR CHILDREN? These products are not toys and should never be given to a child to play with. However, if displayed or fixed out of the reach of children, they may be appreciated by children and make a good feature in a child's room.

.HOW DO I FIX THEM TO THE WALL? All the wall pieces come with two or more fixing holes. Suitable sized nails or screws should be used with the correct plugs if neccessary for your type of wall. The small pieces are very light thus allowing the use of double sided sticky pads especially useful when fixing to tiles, remembering to wash and dry the tiles thoroughly before sticking on.

.THE CLOCK MOVEMENT IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY? Firstly check the hands for clearance, they may be touching each other or the clock face itself at certain positions, if this is the case then simply bend them away from the clock face and ensure there is a gap between them. Secondly check the battery, even if the clock is ticking the battery may not have enough power to move the hands. Please test with a brand new battery only.

.HOW DO I CLEAN THEM? COLOURED AND PLAIN RANGE: They can be cleaned with a soft damp cloth or polish, car polish works very well. Never use any form of scouring cleaner or rubbing compound. THE GARDEN/STAINLESS STEEL RANGE: These pieces can be cleaned with water as they do not rust.
